5 Week Update

Wow how the puppies have grown, and the funnest little personalities popping up, so sweet, so snuggly, and playful. So much fun so much fun! These little guys and gals are going to make their future families the luckiest... We are all going to miss them so.... They are going to have the luckiest families for sure.

Here is a video (not great quality) followed by some photos! Cutest. Puppies. Ever. And I'm not just saying that cause I'm their mom (I'm not!)

3 More weeks until they are ready for their new families.....

3 Week Update

The puppies are 3 weeks old  now! They have began "crawling" and their eyes have all opened. Their colors have lightened, and we suspect will keep lightening until they reach are more mature age. We still don't know what the colors will be exactly, but we suspect they may be multi-colored with brown, silver, and possibly black and whites.

Here are some updated photos of a few of them.

Puppies 1-7

DADDY SNEEKS IN FOR A VISIT
The puppies are ten days old now and cute as can be. A fun fact is that these Chorkies will likely change color as they grow (they are one of the only breeds to do that), though they are already the cutest puppies ever, wait until we get to see more of their coloring come in!

By order of birth our sweetest new babies.

The puppies have started wagging their tails, making their first puppy like sounds, and we anticipate them opening their eyes in the next couple of days. :D

Puppies Have Arrived!

The Puppies are here! Saturday was quite eventful. Moko and I spent the morning delivering her puppies, seven of them. It was a huge surprise to get such a large litter, even the x-ray didn't predict that many. We sadly lost one puppy, which was not born alive. So now we have six, five of which are in good health, and one which is about half the size of the others so he needs some special love. We feel incredibly blessed to have so many new puppies here to celebrate. They are unbelievably cute and sweet.

Moko is an amazing mama. Here is a photo of them on day one just a few hours after they were delivered.

X-Ray

Here is the X-Ray that was taken (side view) of Moko's big belly! We are so excited for the pups! I'm not going to say how many we think there are, but feel free to make your own guesses! The good news is that Moko looks healthy, and that there is definitely more than 1-2 so we are not going to need to plan on a c-section. :) Hurray!

Big Belly

getting kisses

This is a photo of our girl taken yesterday of her big pregnant belly. She is still 2 1/2 weeks from her due date but boy is her belly getting big! She will be taken next week to get an X-Ray so we can hopefully learn how many puppies she has to deliver. She is going to make a great mamma.
