Meet Mom and Dad

Moko and Bob Jones (Bobby) are the perfect pair!

Moko relaxing at the beach in Wellington New Zealand
Moko is a gorgeous white/honeycomb full bred Long Coat Chihuahua (3 yrs). We adopted her at 2 months old while living overseas in New Zealand and brought her home with us. She reached her full size of 4-5 lbs at 6 months old.

She is loyal, loving, intelligent, and playful. Being a long coat Chi she has more of the temperament of a big dog, in that she is not shaky or yappy like many of her shorter coat cousins. She needs very little care with grooming, but does need her nails trimmed quite regularly.

We are planning on her only having 1 or 2 litters (and small dogs typically have quite small litters of only about 2-3 pups).

Our little Bobby

Bobby is a full bred Yorkshire Terrier (1yr), that we adopted at 3 months old to be a companion and potential mate to Moko. He is a full bred Yorkie, and had his tail docked as a puppy by his previous owners, but does not have papers.  He also reached his full size at 6 months of about 4.5 lbs.

Bob Jones getting a (or the) "talk"

His color ranges from light silvery, cream, and tan, to black. True to his breed he is extremely friendly, happy go lucky, and very affectionate. He can also be yappy when he wants to play, or when we have someone arrive at the door. It is true that being a Yorkie means that Bobby does not shed, but his hair has a natural oil so regular grooming is a requirement for him!

The two of them have become best friends and we are so happy to see their friendship bud. We think they will have the most lovely little Chorkies ever!
